JESSICA HILLEN LMSW

Jessica Hillen, LMSW, has worked in the mental health and substance use field since 2014. She earned her Master’s degree from Wayne State University and has held both clinical and leadership roles in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. In addition to her clinical work, she has co-facilitated graduate-level courses at Eastern Michigan University.
Jessica is passionate about helping individuals facing substance use disorders, mood and adjustment disorders, obesity, and family or interpersonal conflict. She brings a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental approach to her work, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic modalities. She emphasizes a strength-based, person-centered philosophy to help clients process emotions and navigate life challenges.
Jessica also values ethical leadership and approaches team management with integrity and approachability. She is currently pursuing certifications as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Committed to community support, she serves on the Executive Board of the Northwest Wayne chapter of Families Against Narcotics.
