Katelyn Strubank, LLMSW
Having personal and professional experience with topics such as grief, trauma, and recovery, Katelyn is a clinician that works hard to help clients achieve their mental health goals. Having the understanding that beginning therapy can be a difficult step, she believes in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to comfortably explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Using a client-centered approach, Katelyn utilizes therapeutic techniques that work best for each individual’s unique needs such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused approaches.
Katelyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan – Dearborn in 2021 with a certificate in Addictions Studies. She continued her education and received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Madonna University in 2023. She has experience working with a variety of populations including those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use concerns. Her goal to cultivate resilience and aid clients in developing coping strategies to help them navigate life’s challenges through a compassionate and respectful approach to therapy.
