SHIBA NIXON PMHNP
Shiba Nixon is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her certification from Wayne State University in 2018 and has been in the profession for over 15 years. She obtained a bachelor’s in nursing from Wayne State University in 2007. She obtained a bachelor’s in biology from Madonna University in 2005. During her career, Shiba Nixon has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities and home health care homes. Shiba specializes in substance abuse, and various psychiatric disorders.
Shiba started teaching at Wayne State University in 2019. Shiba Nixon believes in focusing on the whole person when caring for her patients. She is passionate about providing quality care while remaining mindful of her patients’ individual preferences and needs.
